Our region has one of the fastest growing veteran populations in the country. Richard is committed to caring for these veterans who have sacrificed and served our country.

In Congress, Richard helped pass the biggest budget for the VA in history. He championed the largest expansion of the GI Bill in a decade and expanded access to the VA for veterans exposed to toxic burn pits. He’s also introduced the Care for the Veteran Caregiver Act to make sure veteran caregivers have the support they deserve.
